10 April 2016. My friends in my office (Shelly and Winda) and I went for a food tour in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK). We met at the Monas bus stop around 10 pm, then we took busway from Monas to Pantai Indah Kapuk, and disembarked at the Mangrove PIK bus stop. It took just over an hour, withour traffic jam Alhamdulillah 😉
Cake A Boo (Ruko Garden House Blok B No. 22, Pantai Indah Kapuk)
Our first destination was Cake A Boo. What are we going to eat there? A cake, obviously! We arrived at Cake A Boo around 11 pm.

It has a super cute interior, it’s utterly adorable. I felt like I was in candyland hehe. Cakes and beverage we ordered tasted delicious, also.

what we ordered : I forgot the name of such beverage (it is a kind of green tea milkshake with cotton candy on top), cake a bomb, cheese trap
I do love cotton candy ❤
Kamakura (Ruko Garden House, Blok A No. 10, Pantai Indah Kapuk)
Our second destination was Kamakura. It is located in the same retail complex just as Cake a Boo, only 5 minutes walk perhaps.

The owner of Kamakura is a Japanese *jadi pengen praktekin yang diajarin di kelas bahasa Jepang hehe, tapi kalo dijawab sama doi, langsung melipir aja kayanya*. Kamakura has simple yet lovely interior, me like it! And their food tasted incredibly delicious yuuuumm~
Shelly, Sabi, Winda
we ordered snow milk kakigori and white mushroom omu rice to share, because we felt almost full, despite the fact that it is just our second place haha
Having finished at Kamakura, we walked to the next destination: North Pole Cafe. It is situated quite far from Kamakura, but we still can reach it on foot and of course, we took so many photos when we were on our way 😀

North Pole Cafe (Ruko Crown Golf, Blok A No. 57, Pantai Indah Kapuk)
Well, this is our third destination. It is pretty renowned nowadays, isn’t it? Such cafe can be reached within 15 minutes walk from Kamakura.

The interior of the restaurant is dominated by blue, my favorite color
it is dominated by blue ❤
our pan of happiness: lemon, forest berry, thai tea, mint chocolate chip, oreo, and salted caramel ice cream at a time :9
Itadakimas (Ruko Elang Laut, Blok D No. 57, Pantai Indah Kapuk)
And here it is, our last destination for our first food tour. Itadakimas is situated pretty far from the other restaurants, so that we rode Uber.
It has teddy bear theme for the interior, and panda theme for plating, Shelly’s favorite definitely. Shelly said “belum lengkap kalau belum makan nasi” –> typical Indonesian 😀 on the other hand, I am not a rice person, and will be very happy not having it in my dish.

what we ordered : sleeping panda, cheese mentai maki, nah I forgot the name of the new dish which has 2 panda rice balls on top. All of them tasted good ❤
To sum up, all of the restaurants we visited have an appealing interior, totally instagram-able. Also, their dishes. Their plating is obviously instagram-able and for me, all of them successfully increased my appetite.
But, the most important thing of a dish is the taste, just like all the judges of masterchef said 😀 and all of the restaurants fulfill this requirement, in my opinion. If you wonder which one is the best? I would probably say it is Kamakura, their dishes are really really delicious, you must try 🙂
