Fook Yew! No, no, you don’t think that I’m shouting to you, because Fook Yew is a name of a Chinese Restaurant by Ismaya Group, which is located in Gandaria City, also Grand Indonesia Shopping Town, Jakarta. Why it called Fook Yew? It sounds like…… Hmm well well, Fook means Fortune, while Yew means Friendship. Soooo, Fook Yew! 😉
When I came to this restaurant, I felt like I was involved in the making of ‘film silat’ hehe. Coba lihat tulisan-tulisan di dindingnya. Also, lampu-lampu unik yang hanging on the ceiling and a giant kucing hoki di pintu masuk. Totally cool and nyentrik!

I ordered Macau Fried Seafood Noodle with Egg Sauce and Kungfu Hustle there. Macau Fried Seafood Noodle adalah i fu mie yang disiram oleh egg sauce dan berisi macam-macam seafood (big prawns, fish, and cumi-cumi). Porsinya gede bangeeeet, I think for a girl, you can share your dish with one friend of yours. It is delicious and the price was 50K. Whereas, Kungfu Hustle adalah bubble drink (thai tea yang dicampur dengan bubble), enaaak, harganya 35K.
